Question

I did not work as self employed last year but the app won’t let me continue unless I answer questions about where self employment took place. It didn’t so how do I answer?

If you were paid for services with a form 1099-Misc, you are considered self employed.  

 

If you are self employed you can just answer those questions as though you are the business and you worked from home, even if you went to various job sites.
