Question

I didn't file taxes last year because I didn't work at all in 2022. How do I handle that?

When it asks for your2022 AGI choose the answer that you did not file last year, or use 'zero" as your 2022 AGI.

No, you don't have to file a tax return if you didn't have any income. When you get to the File section, check the box to indicate that you didn't file last year and enter 0 as your 2022 AGI.
