If you have not already filed your return, Here's how to clear (delete) a state return while in the TurboTax: Select State on the left hand side of your screen (it will show up when you have a section open while in your TaxHome) Select the return you want to delete and click Remove. Answer Yes to confirm.If you want to start a new state return, select the Step-by-Step icon in the upper right corner, and then select the State Taxes tab.

Question

I didn't have to file an Alabama tax return. Shouldnt turbotax let me know this so i wouldnt have spent $40 extra?
