Question

I do not qualify for the Vermont Renter Credit Claim. I cannot move beyond the page requiring the SPAN Number. How do i get past this section?

My landlord does not give me a copy of HIS property tax bill, nor does he provide the Renters Credit paperwork as I do not qualify. The System won't let me move past this screen. The most help I can find is TurboTax attempting to upsell me to the top tier product so I can get live help.

You can delete Form RCC-146, Vermont Renter Credit Claim if you don't qualify for the credit.

To delete the form:

Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.
