If you are referring to the "Taxable IRA/Keogh Distributions" screen during the state interview you will have to enter the contributions previously taxed by Massachusetts and distributions received in prior years.

Massachusetts doesn't allow the deduction of contribution to the traditional IRA like the IRS does on the federal return. Therefore, you will need to enter your total traditional IRA contributions and any distributions you took on the "Taxable IRA/Keogh Distributions" screen.
