Question

I do not want to annualize my income, but Form 2210 line D is making me. what am I doing wrong?

You are not required to annualize your income on IRS form 2210 Underpayment of Estimated Tax.

 

In TurboTax Online, follow these steps:

 

  • Down the left side of the screen, click Federal.
  • Down the left side of the screen, click Other Tax Situations.
  • Click to the right of Additional Tax Payments.
  • Click to the right of Underpayment Penalties.
  • At the screen Annualized Income Method, select No.
