Question

I do not want to give TurboTax direct access to my banking and investment accounts. Can I import PDFs of my 1099-INT and 1099-DIV directly into TurboTax 2024?

Yes, you can. After you have navigated to the input section for your investments, choose to Enter a different way. Select the type of 1099 you would like to start with and continue. You may now choose to upload the form.

............with the qualification, that you MUST edit every one you upload that way, to make sure every $$ amount is properly entered....int he proper box.

Sometimes the numbers/boxes get scrambled by the AI that interprets your PDF form.  One person had the Federal EIN end up in an income box.....thus showing over a million$$ of income in that form.
