I don’t claim my daughter and grandson who live with us but we buy all the food, housing and utilities for them can I claim head of household or just married filing jointly

If you are married and live with your spouse you cannot file as head of household. Head of household is a filing status for a single person with a qualifying dependent.

status MFJ and how many dependents you have are two separate items.

 

See IRS Pub 501 for who can be a dependent on your tax return.

If you claim your daughter, she can't claim any dependents.
