Go back to the Deductions & Credits>>Medical>>Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A) section, and delete any numbers you entered in that section, and then, select "No, I didn't receive Form 1095-A".  Then, use the "Delete a form" feature to find the 1095-A form in your tax file, and delete that.

Note that if you had coverage from the Marketplace in your name in 2019, a Form 1095-A was generated and sent to the IRS.  The IRS will not process your tax return if they have a Form 1095-A on file for you, and will send you a letter requesting that you submit a Form 8962 and a copy of your 1095-A.

Here's how to delete your 1095-A form in TurboTax Online:

  1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
  2. In the left menu, select the dropdown arrow next to Tax Tools and then underneath that Tools.
  3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
  4. Select Delete next to the Form 1095-A in the list and follow the instructions.
