I don't have an option to upgrade, even after following all the steps in your support articles.

I need to upgrade in order to file and I don't have that option on desktop or mobile, even after following the steps in your support articles. Please advise.

You were using the TurboTax Free File Program and your AGI is greater than $34,000 to be eligible to use that program.  You will need to go to the TurboTax online editions and start a new account with a new unique User ID.  The tax data you entered on the return using the Free File Program does Not transfer to the TurboTax online editions so you need to start the tax return from scratch.

Go to this TurboTax website for the online editions, select the edition and start a new account  with a new User ID - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/

Or if you have a Windows or Mac Computer what you can do is download the .tax2018 file and buy the Desktop program to continue in.  Which might save you some money since you can use a lower version.  All the Desktop programs have all the forms.  And Deluxe and above come with a free state program.  You can see them here
