Question

I don't have my child's social security number. I used turbo tax last year. Is there a way to retrieve her social security number from my taxes last year?

You should save a printed copy of every year's tax filing within a couple weeks after you file EVERY year.

BUT.....IF you download a copy of that years tax return now form your Online account, that file it will contain all of the necessary data.  Of course, it helps a lot if you use the exact same Online account every year. 

 

(and if you used the Desktop software last year, then that file is only on your home computer...it wouldn't be Online)
