I'm not sure what you mean by "won't go away."  Is it being regenerated?  How have you tried to get rid of it?

Have you tried one of the following methods?

With your return open, in the left menu column click the Federal tab.

That should open a summary page "Your Income and Expenses".  (If it didn't, click  "Income and Expenses" at the top.)

Scroll down the list of income categories you have already entered. Is one called "Gambling Winnings?" If so, click on a gray button Edit/Add.
Next screen says "Review your W-2G info."
There should be a trash can icon on the far right to delete the one you don't want.

If that didn't work, or if it's being regenerated, try this:

Go to the left menu column and choose TAX TOOLS, then TOOLS.

In the Tools window, choose the link Delete a Form.

Scroll down the list of forms to the Form W-2G you don't want, be sure that it is the right one, and click Delete.

If you have another Form W-2G there that you DO want, be sure you delete the correct one.

It's also possible there is a "ghost" W-2G if you started to fill one out and aborted that interview topic, or if something transferred in from last year.  So if you see a ghost W-2G in the forms list that you don't want, you can delete it, too.  A ghost would likely say Form W-2G (Untitled) which means it wasn't finished.

NOTE:  If you see a Forms W-2 and W-2G Summary showing in the list of forms, you do NOT delete that form.  It may disappear on its own, unless its needed for a Form W-2 you reported from your job or another W-2G.  You shouldn't need to mess with that Summary form.
