I don't own a business, I am employed. What am I being asked to pat Estimated Payments? What if I update my w4 now, would I still have to pay estimated payments?

It sounds like your taxes were under withheld by your employer.  Go to the IRS website to use the tax estimator and update your W4 with your employer.  If you think that still wouldn't withhold enough tax, you can add an additional dollar amount to the calculation.  This should remove the requirement to make estimated tax payments if you have no other sources of income.  Remember, how you file your W4 does not have to be the same as with the IRS.  You can claim fewer dependents OR claim single to increase the payroll withholding, even if your IRS filing is different.
