I am no longer self employed. I don't need to use the upgraded software. I don't want to pay the extra expense
You can downgrade using the Clear & Start Over feature.
Please follow these steps:
- Sign in to your TurboTax account
- Choose Take me to my return (click on orange link)
- Click on My Account in upper right corner
- Choose Clear & Start Over
- You will be prompted to verify that you want to clear your return
- Once answered, you will be taken to TurboTax Online Products & Pricing where you can choose the best version for your tax situation.
Note: You will remain signed in to your account through this process.
