I downloaded 2021 turbotax premier and now I cannot find my turbotax 2020 tax files even though turbotax 2020 is still on my computer. Has this happened to anyone?

The file is gone for some reason. Fortunately I printed a hard copy but I feel the download deleted the existing 2020 tax file.

Did you by chance check to see if the file was saved to your Windows OneDrive instead of your PC hard drive? Please also check your temp folder and recycle bin as well.

You may want to consider creating a backup folder of your tax data file in case something like this happens again or your file gets corrupted. Please see the below help article for more information.
