Question

I e-filed last year and got an e-mail back saying everything went thru and never heard anything from you or the IRS so I assumed everything was fine. What can I do now?

I remember getting an e-mail from you saying my return was accepted. What can I do now?

what's the problem?    accepted only means a return passed some general tests.  after that is goes thru more elaborate checks which can result in changes.  if the IRS had questions or change things it would have sent a notice to the address on the return.   sadly the iRS phone lines are now closed and no one knows when they'll reopen.

Can you provide a little more information, please? Did you expect a specific response that you did not receive? Are you missing a refund?  Which tax year are you referring to (2018 or 2019)?

No refund expected. That would have been for 2018. Was not expecting anything else after I had gotten an e-mail stating my electronic return was accepted by the IRS.
