I entered info from W2 but it is asking for info from a 1099 which I don’t have . What do I do?

The 1099 may have been carried over from last year.  If you didn't have a 1099 leave that field blank or delete it and move forward with your return. 

However: If you do have a 1099 form you need to enter it in your return.

There are a number of different 1099 forms that report the various types of income you may receive throughout the year other than the salary your employer pays you. The person or entity that pays you is responsible for filling out the appropriate 1099 tax form and sending it to you by January 31.
