Question

I entered my SS Wages (Box 3) incorrectly. Based on this, TT says I had too much SS Tax withheld. It still says this, even though I corrected Box 3. How can I fix this?

TT wants me to upgrade to TT Deluxe based on its error. My Box 4 / Box 3 = 6.2%, which is correct. I'm not going to ask for a refund of extra SS withheld because no extra SS *was* withheld. Thanks!

What amounts are in box 3&4?  Try leaving off the cents in box 4.  That's been working for other users.
