I entered the state tax amount from my W2 in box 17 and it is not showing up in the "Less: total payments

Is the correct two character state abbreviation in box 15 (in front of the Employer's state id number)? Double check that the two character state code is entered into TurboTax AND that it is the right state code (for example, MI is for Michigan, not Mississippi).
