Question

I entered the wrong amount of my first stimulus check as 1400 instead of 1200 do I need to file an addended return?

If you received the full amount of stimulus payments but entered a higher amount as received then your Recovery Rebate Credit will still show as $0 on line 30 of the 1040. Therefore, there will be no need to amend your return.
