Solved

I filed an extension and provided a federal payment for the 2015 tax year. I still need to complete the filing for 2015 and 16. Do I need to do anthing special in Turbotax?

If you were using online software; you'll no longer be able to file your 2015 return, online. Online software isn't available after the final due date for individuals in October. Instead, you'll use the 2015 desktop software, which you can find HERE and you'll need to mail your return in (e-file is no longer available).

Otherwise, there's nothing special that you need to do for your 2016 taxes because of not yet filing 2015. I would recommend getting your 2015 taxes in first.
