I filed an extension, and submitted my payment details. Does turbo tax make the payment on my behalf? Money hasn't left bank account yet, its been 24 hours

Hi - Assuming you entered the direct debit information in the extensions experience (routing number and bank account number), and that you saw confirmation that the extension was filed, the funds will be withdrawn and you are good to go. Sometimes it takes a little longer for it to happen, and it might even be after April 15th, but you don't have to worry. Getting confirmation before the 15th is all you need!
