Question

I filed as single, but I also put that someone will be claiming on their taxes! (I thought my parents could, but they can not) I made over $12k this year, am I in trouble now?

No, you are not in trouble.  Regardless if you put that your parents would be claiming you as a dependent, your maximum standard deduction is $12,200.  So you would pay the same amount of tax and get the same refund.
