If you already entered the correct amount of stimulus payments that you received into your tax return, then you do not need to change your tax return. You are good to go.

However, if you indicated that you did not receive a payment, e-filed, and then subsequently received a stimulus payment you can make that one-time correction.

You would follow the steps outlined here by 6 February.
