Question

I filed married filing separately for 2021(We are retired), for tax year 2022 I'm filing married filing jointly, why don't I see anyplace to put my husbands pension amt?

At the beginning I said on the Turbo tax form that I was married and filing jointly. I provided information for myself and my spouse SS Nos., residence, etc.  however the forms asked about my income but never asked for info regarding pension payments for my spouse. How can I input his pension and the state and federal taxes he paid in 2022 as we are filing jointly this year. We filed last year with Turbo tax also. Thank you.

The same exact way you entered yours.  When you enter a W2 or 1099R it will ask who it is for.

Enter a 1099R under
Federal Taxes on left
Wages & Income
Then scroll way down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
Then IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) – Click Start

Don't type the bank name or try to import it.
At the bottom pick - Change How I enter my Form
Then on the next screen pick - I'll Type it in Myself

Be sure to pick the right kind of 1099R on the 4 boxes. 1099R or CSA1099R or CSF1099R or RRB1099R
If you are filing a Joint return be sure to pick which person it is for.

When you started the return and entered  your info and his did you say to file Joint?  Then when you enter the 1099R you should get this screen for which spouse.

And as long as I'm making screen shots.  If you have Social Security you should get a screen with 2 columns.
