I filed my 2019 taxes which needs to be mailed because it could not be efiled. I did not make any income but did in my 2018 taxes. Based on my 2019 taxes, I am eligible for the stimulus check. Will th

It depends.

 

If the IRS receives and processes your 2019 tax return before they process your stimulus payment, your stimulus payment will be based off of your 2019 return.

 

If they process it based upon your 2018 return, then your stimulus payment will be processed based upon that return.

 

Please note, when you file your 2020 tax return, if you determine your stimulus payment should have been higher than what you actually received, you may be eligible to claim a credit on your 2020 return to ensure you get credit for what you were entitled to.
