Question

I filed my 2020 Federal returns last year and never went back to file my 2020 State. How do I do as I am guessing I will not be able to submit electronically.

First, don't assume. Attempt to file the taxes electronically. If it goes through, you are done. If it doesn't go thru then print the documents and send them by mail. Include a letter explaining that you simply forgot to file them after completing the Federal Return, even though they were completed. This may be most helpful if you were expecting a refund, since there was no reason to avoid filing or paying late. If it is late, be sure to include the payment, in full.
