Question

I filed my federal with CreditKarma and just need to file my state on TurboTax, but it keeps getting rejected. How do I only file state?

You can't.  When you use TurboTax the information flows from the federal return to the state return.  TT cannot be used to prepare a "stand alone" state return.  Try going on your state's tax website to see if you can file for free there.
