I filed my own tax return. I was covered under my moms insurance which was through the exchange however they want me to fill out Form 8962 & provide a 1095A

Yes, you would also enter the 1095-A on your return. You and your mother will prorate the amounts between your two returns. You may agree to allocate the amounts however you choose, but the amounts must add up to 100% between the two returns.
