I filed my taxes with an extension request and paid the estimated tax due on Federal. Why am i being asked to pay again?

I am being asked to add payment information again as I attempt to complete my 2021 taxes

You don’t have to pay again. TurboTax is asking you to pay again because it doesn’t know you made an extension payment.

Here’s the fix:

Type estimated tax payments in Search in the top right
Select Jump to estimated tax payments
Go to Payments with Extension
Start Payments with 2021 federal extension and enter the amount you paid
If you paid state, do the same thing with Payments with 2021 state extension
