I filed my taxes with turbo tax. followed tax advice, I requested for a ITIN for my wife. it was rejected not sure why how do I proceed. My cell 0149 xxxx xxx xxxx

Your return was most likely rejected due to a missing or incorrect social security number.

When using the tax return to simultaneously request an ITIN, you will need to print and mail the return along with the form W7. The address is not the normal IRS Service center. Here are the instructions and address.

You will need to put in a fake social security number for your spouse to allow the print/download of the return. Then you will white out your spouse's fake social security number on your form before mailing it in.
