I filed my taxes with TurboTax on time. I got an email on 4/13 saying something was wrong. Will they file an extension for me?

If tubotax emails you something is wrong with your taxes, do they file an extension for you?

No. TurboTax cannot file an extension for you. The date to file an extension has expired unless you live in MA or ME where April 17 , 2024 is the last day to file for an extension.

If your return rejected on 4/13/24, you have a grace period of five days to correct and resubmit it so that it will still be considered filed on time.
