Question

I filed the extension and it has been approved. I have tax due and plan to pay it through IRS site. But it said Your 2024 Tax Return Is Not Processed and no amount owed.

Can I still pay the tax due before 4/15 (today is 4/9) through the IRS website after filed the extension?

    Yes, you can and should pay any tax due as soon as possible.

    The easiest and most efficient way is to use the IRS Payment options
