I filed TurboTax online deluxe, as I do every year.. sent & accepted already.

The tax preparation software--TurboTax, H & R Block, and the others out there, have to follow all of the tax laws and have all of the IRS/state forms;   everything they present to the do-it-yourself users must be approved by the IRS.  That means if you enter the same data into any of the software programs you will get the same results.

So....what did you enter differently in H & R Bock and TT?   Which one is correct?  We do not know--we cannot see either one of those returns.  You would have to print them and lay them side by side to see.

If you discover a mistake you made in TT, you can amend the return after it has been fully processed by the IRS.

You will have to compare your tax return filed with us to the one you prepared with the other company. When you identify where the difference is, you can post another question and we can help you analyse to see if there was something that was overlooked on your returned filed with Turbotax.

It is likely that the same information was not inputted into both programs, so we need to find out what the difference is to determine which return is correct.
