I filed two different peoples taxes with turbotax 2018, but it was my 2019 taxes. I got my taxes accepted, but my boyfriends did not. Why will it not accept his?

TurboTax Free Edition Online

You have to use the TurboTax edition for the tax year you are preparing. You can not use TurboTax 2019 to file a 2018 tax return.

What do you mean "2018"? TurboTax online is ONLY for 2019 tax returns. 2018 can only be paper filed using the CD/download 2018 software.

Online accounts can only file ONE tax return. Each tax return requires a separate online account with a different login ID and password. Trying to do a 2nd return in the same account will overwrite and destroy the first.
