Question

I filed without paying federal dues by acciden.t What should I do now?!

I set up my state payment to be taken May 2nd. I hit continue and it filed my taxes! I was never asked to pay federal dues. I'm so confused and don't want to be penalized for a late payment.

To avoid added interest and penalties, I recommend that you pay as soon as you can. 

If you pay today, your payment will be one day late.  You may receive a letter from the IRS saying you owe them a penalty for late payment.
