Question

I first selected the dependent care credit, but learned that I won't be receiving the credit. Now, I am trying to take it off, and I answer "NO" when I go to revisit that category, but when I go to wrap up my federal, it brings me back to "Needs Rev

You will also need to delete the form.  An incomplete Form 2441 will be created if you start the Child and Dependent Care section but don't complete it and, as you have run into, this can cause problems when attempting to file your return.  Try following the advice in the article below.  It involves two steps - first adjusting an entry through the interview process and then deleting the form through Tools  -
