If you have already submitted your return to be e-filed with TurboTax, then if your return is accepted, the only thing you can do is amend the return. Please see the TurboTax FAQ on Amendments. 

 

If your return is rejected for some reason, then you can re-open your return in TurboTax and add the new one, and file again.

 

Therefore, check the status of your return. Please see this TurboTax FAQ if you want to check the status of a return that you e-filed.
