Question

I got a bonus from my employer and it wasnt encluded on my W2. How and where do I enter it?

You should request a corrected W-2 form from your employer. If that is not possible, you can enter the income as "Other Income" on your return as follows:

 

1. Go to the "Federal" section of TurboTax

2. Click on "Income and Expenses"

3. Find "Less Common Income" and choose the last entry "Miscellaneous Income"

4. On the next screen, "Miscellaneous Income" choose the entry "Other income not already reported on a form W-2 or form 1099"

5. Work through that section to enter your bonus income
