I got an email that my return was accessed after I efiled. Is that normal?

Yes, that is just to let you know that someone (you) logged into your TT account.

Anytime a change has been made to your account or your tax data has been downloaded, Turbo Tax will notify you in order to make sure that only you have accessed your secure Turbo Tax information.

 

We’ll notify you of changes made to your account, such as updating your payment method, changing your password, or signing in for the first time on a new device.
