I had 0 income last year as I was fired after 10 years on the job. I decided to take a year away from working because I deserved it. So no w-2 and no w1090 or whatever

If you had no income then you have no need to file an income tax return unless you have a 1095A for marketplace health insurance.

You also have to file if you took money out of a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Medical Savings Account (MSA).
