I had a baby apirl 27 2019 and my tax credit is only $300 something.

Your child-related credits are affected in a big way by how much income you earned by working, so make sure every 2019 W-2 you received is entered on the same tax return.  Make sure you said your child born in 2019 lived with you the whole year--you need to say that for a newborn, and make sure you entered her Social Security number.  If you have done all of that, then perhaps you only earned a very small amount of income in 2019 and that would explain the very small refund.
