File a tax return to claim any stimulus money that you are owed. The IRS is no longer sending out stimulus payments (though some checks are still in the mail). Any missing stimulus will be added to your income tax refund (or will lower the amount of tax you owe).

The IRS says eligible individuals who did not receive the full amounts of both Economic Impact Payments may claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on their 2020 Form 1040 or 1040-SR.

TurboTax will ask you to enter your stimulus payments when you get to Federal Review. Enter the amount you actually received. You should get an extra $1,100 ($500 + $600) for the baby.

Review your Personal Info. Make sure that you said your baby lived with you for the whole year (even though he or she was born during the year). Also make sure TurboTax is showing your baby as a dependent.
