Question

I had significant eBay sales for the first time in 2018. I have a 1099-K from PayPal. Where do I enter this?

TurboTax is telling me "We don't need to create a separate entry for your 1099-K. That's because your 1099-K income should already be included in other income, such as your self employment or rental."

So when will I be prompted for it?

You will not be prompted separately for a 1099K form as the IRS does not require it to be entered as a stand alone form.  Enter the 1099 K income along with the rest of your income that is not reported on a 1099 MISC form as General Income for Schedule C.  See the sample screenshot below, plus steps to be brought to this section of TurboTax:

Type Schedule C in the FIND box at the top of the screen and then select the Jump to link. This will take you to where you can enter any cash, personal checks, credit card payments, or cryptocurrency (Form 1099-K) related to your self-employment. You may first be asked some general questions about your business. After you answer them, you’ll be taken to the Business Income screen where you can enter this income as General Income.
