I had to amned my 2016 return. It now says I owe the state $753.00. I already paid the state $176.00. Do I need to pay the full $753.00 or do I subtract the $176.00 I

You will need to mail in the amount due from the amended return along with your amended return. Original returns and amended returns are processed as two separate returns.
