Question

I have 2 different companies info on one w2 in box 15 because it's a payroll company's w2. Why am I having issues with this?

2 different companies within the same year through the same payroll company but box 15 has 2 CA entries and the irs is rejecting my filing.

Please add the amounts up on the W2 for the CA withholding and enter on the W2 that way, just using one line.

It won't cause any issues with the IRS.
