Question

I have a 4 year old and had a baby 2022 and it doesn't seem like I got credit for both children. Anyone have any input? Thank you.

Your baby born in 2022 is considered by the IRS as having lived with you the WHOLE YEAR. You have to indicate this in the My Info section of TurboTax to make sure that this baby is counted as a qualifying child for the child tax credit and the Earned Income credit (if you are eligible).

Please revisit the My Info section to make sure that all entries are correct.

Thank you. I have already filed the taxes but how would I check and amend it? @MinhT1

Open your account in TurboTax and click "amend a previously filed return".  Then open 2022.  Go to the personal info section as @MinhT1 advises and check to make sure that you entered both children as "lived with me the whole year" to make sure that you received full credit for both kids.  If you didn't your refund counter should change to show an increased refund amount.  If it does then you should continue through and file the amended return.  If it doesn't then you got it right the first time and you can just exit.
