Question

I have a premium money market but the interest is taxed. Do I need to check the box about "my state doesn't tax all of this interest"? I live in TN & received a 1099-INT.

It is asking me to check this box if "my state (ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, TN, or WY) doesn't tax all of this interest". I live in TN and received a 1099-INT form with the interest income I earned for the account. Do I still need to check this box?

According to TN.govInterest from money on deposit in a money market account in any bank, savings and loan association, or credit union is exempt so yes, you will check this box.
