I have a statement from an internal revenue service as total interest paid / credit how do I put this in my income as that's where it says to do it

You would enter the interest income received from the IRS as follows:

To enter your Interest Income

  • Click on Federal Taxes
  • Click on Wages and Income
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on
  • Scroll down to Interest and Dividends
  • On Interest on 1099-INT, click the start or update button - Report it regardless if they did not issue you a 1099INT.
