Question

I have been filing with Jackson Hewitt for many years now and this year I'm trying to use turbotax but it keeps saying I'm entering the wrong AGI number

If you have entered the AGI as shown on your 2018 form 1040 line 7 and it is not working, try entering 0. If you filed later in the tax year, the correct AGI will sometimes not work.  If 0 doesn't work, you may have to print, sign and mail your return. It wouldn't matter whether you were using Jackson Hewitt or TurboTax, it's the IRS system that is not accepting your AGI.
